Disney Thesis in Japan

During my years at International Christian University (ICU) in Japan, academics was something I avoided to really think about, especially not knowing what I want to do with my career, let alone the future. I was lucky to find my passion for dance and I stuck with it throughout my years in college. Dance was my focus, my interest, and my escape route. I love the feeling of performing, the motivation to practice, the drive to get better and be better, and the way I was able to express emotionally through movement. However, college do come to an end, and I had to write my thesis paper on.. something. Well, in the moment, the two most important things to me is: dance and Disney. My professor at that time (a lovely and understanding professor) recommended to write about Disney as working in Disney can potentially be a career for me. I remember going to Professor Curran Beverly's office for the first time and we chatted for hours about Disney. Those hours were one of the most happiest moments I've had other than dancing. Disney was so broad as a topic it felt impossible to narrow it down, yet we did it. Here I present to you, my thesis paper in "Villains in Disney Adaptations"
