The International Disney of Me

As an international student born in Taiwan, raised in Thailand, went to get my bachelor's in Japan, currently seeking my master's degree in Communications in University of Central Florida in the US, AND now being able to experience the most magical moments working in Walt Disney World with Disney College Program (DCP), my life is multicultural . My passion for dance developed when I was in Japan with a crew called "Smooth Steppers," also a place I've learned to express and convey messages through body language, non-verbal gestures, and lyrics/beats. In the Disney College Program I am in the entertainment department as a character performer which I am in love with doing. I was able to combine both of my favorite things in life together: to perform and Disney. Prior to this, side-note, I have always been lost in words whenever people ask me "what do I want to do with my degree," "what do you want to do for your career," because honestly till this very moment, I can say I still don't have a clue. I am gradually picking up pieces that I find joy in doing and go from there. It is terrifying not having a specific specialized career goal, however I find every step that I take an opportunity to adventure forward to finding what I love and enjoy. In addition to this, with my bachelor's on Communications and getting my M.A. degree in Communications, my ultimate goal is to work in the entertainment field in regards to communicate internationally (as I can speak Chinese/Mandarin, Japanese, Thai, and English) with Walt Disney Corporations.
